At St Barnabas’ we believe that the God of the Bible still SPEAKS today and can be known through Jesus. So we spend time listening to God SPEAK as the Bible is read.  A talk is given, exploring the relevance, the challenge and comfort of the Bible passage that was read. A band leads the service in singing. The service is relaxed, air-conditioned and is followed by morning tea.

Every week after church we’ll enjoy lunch together at a local restaurant. Once a month we have lunch together on the Church grounds. Everyone is welcome to  join us. Details are announced during the Church service or organised afterwards.

Children’s Church

Run every week during the 10.30am service for children in pre-school to year 5. The kids have a great time enjoying craft, singing and learning from the Bible. All leaders have completed an accredited Child Protection Course conducted by the Anglican Church.

Creche

Supervised by a number of trained adults in a sound-proof room stocked with toys. Mothers of babies can also use the crying room at the back of the church.

S’UP

Stands for ’7 & UP’ – it’s a fun interactive Bible study group for year 7 -8. Also run during the 10.30am service.
